Fuaxtographic Resonings

1. demonstrate a good sense of composition
This picture is a good example of the use of the rule of thirds, in the foreground is a person riding a camel and he sits in the lower right third of the screen, in the background sit the Pyramids of Giza and they sit in the upper left thirds of the image

2. deliberate use of depth of field
This National Geographic picture is a wonderful example of depth of field. The Grey Wolf stays in perfect focus but the background it completely and deliberately out of focus so that it doesn't overpower the canine centerpiece.

3. Eyes, Color, Fill the Frame
This picture is a perfect example of Eyes, Color, Fill the Frame, because the tiger's eyes are the focus of the picture and the photograph is close enough that you can see the full emotion of the eyes and connect better with the photograph.

4. Interesting use of light
I found this picture of a coral reef to be a beautiful and interesting use of lighting. The light filtering in from the sun above is shining down on this coral reef. Unlike above water photography there isn't as much ambient light under water so things look very different under water.
5. Shooting at eye-level

This picture shows a young child eating a meal at a table. This is a fabulous example of shooting at eye level because this child is obviously not as tall as other people in the world so by shooting at his level you allow the audience to connect with the child.

6. Macro photography
Macro photography is close-up photography; the classical definition is that the image projected on the "film plane" (i.e., film or a digital sensor) is close to the same size as the subject. On 35 mm film (for example), the lens is typically optimized to focus sharply on a small area approaching the size of the film frame.

This flower is such a fantabulous example of macro photography if it were any more macro my eye balls would explode out of the back of my skull, lucky for me it isnt and I will be able to see another day.
